Behavioral and Comment Policy
The Lovelyish Editorial Team will feature content that is considerate of others, which is respectful and civil toward all members of the Lovelyish community, regardless of who they are and what they believe. Content that is discriminatory, bigoted, and hateful will not be featured on the site.
We expect the Lovelyish community to write comments that are constructive with the understanding that all members of the community are free to share their views, including those with whom we disagree. We welcome respectful disagreements, but we can't condone those who turn informed discussion into an arena for name-calling and ad hominem attacks. Lovelyish refuses to tolerate comments that are personally malicious, and in addition, those who write comments that derail the conversation or discuss something that is not related to the topic of the original post run the risk of being warned and having their comments deleted. As editors, we use our discretion in determining which comments meet the criteria for deletion.
Those who choose to become involved on Lovelyish will not use this site to harm, abuse, threaten, harass, stalk or invade the privacy of any member of the Lovelyish community. These actions are in direct violation of the Xanga.com Terms of Use to which all account holders have agreed. Further, we will not allow the site to be used to attack, mock, insult, condemn, ridicule or otherwise isolate any member of the Lovelyish community on the basis of his or her religious, political, social, ethnic, or other personally held beliefs.
We do not approve the extensive use of language that is vulgar, obscene, libelous, defamatory or otherwise hateful. These actions are in direct violation of the Xanga.com Terms of Use to which all account holders have agreed. Further, while we will not censor members of the community should they use profanity in moderation, such censorship might occur if members of the community abuse this privilege.
Please contact the Lovelyish Editorial Team at lovelyish@xanga.net in the event that these guidelines are violated by any user at any time, regardless of his or her affiliation with Lovelyish. Those who are found to be in violation of this policy will first receive a written warning from a member of the Lovelyish Editorial Team. If problems persist, members do run the risk of being permanently blocked from the Lovelyish website. Lastly, we will, at times, remind the community of this policy in a post or a comment, and these reminders are to be respected and taken seriously.

How You Can Be a Part of Our Team
If you have a great post idea, or you wrote something on your personal Xanga account you think we'd like, send it our way! We'll publish it. If it's good.
We're always looking for new writers and team members. Our internship program is available year-round and offers both college students and post-grads the chance to gain valuable blogging experience as well as college credit. We post ads regularly on Craigslist NYC and Ed2010.com when we're hiring for internships, but feel free to contact internship@xanga.net for further inquiries.
Finally, we offer a syndication program for other fashion and beauty bloggers, where Lovelyish will feature your content with a link share to your own site. If you're interested in our link exchange program, please contact us at the above email address.
